Do they only look at my substitution rules on Sunday, and after a certain time?  The reason I ask is I currently have a player in my starting lineup that has already been ruled out for tomorrows game and it has not replaced him for the past 2 days yet.

Substitution profiles kick in about an hour before the first game of the week.

and what happens when its a game time decision and the decision is made 15 min before game-time?  if you're like me and calvin johnson today, i guess you're f#%$#@ed.  i'll post this again in this forum:

What the heck is the point of the substitution feature if it doesn't work?  In one of my leagues I set Calvin Johnson to be replaced by Bernard Berrian if Johnson was out.  (I checked it to make sure it was saved right after I did it)  Today, I check my scores on my phone and find that not only is Johnson inactive for the game, but he's in my starting lineup.  If I try to use my phone to make a manual substitution, THAT FEATURE DOESN'T WORK EITHER.  The only point to using this entire site is to get my fantasy scores on my phone, which for me is useful about 1 week out of the year-- and this was it.  There are too many features on this site that are said to work, but don't work at all.

Our substitution profiles engage about an hour before game time, and there is another check as close to game time as possible.  Substitution profiles are not guaranteed as we depend on the site your team is on, Yahoo!, ESPN, CBS Sportsline, etc..  If these sites are experiencing slowness from load due to Sunday morning traffic, then it will also cause a delay in our service in getting over your substitution profiles.  Also, we try to make sure that all substitution profiles have been completed before game time but if you have a player that is a game time decision and it's not on the official NFL wire before game time there is not anything we can do after the game starts.

We will look into the issue you are having with our mobile site and get that fixed ASAP.
