TheSwigz:I have the Chicago D/ST in my league and was sitting pretty well
with it until last week. Now I'm looking at 4 more starters possibly
sitting out against the Lions (Harris, Vasher, Briggs and Tillman) and
Archuleta playing with a broken right hand, which has me worried about
their possible production.
I have a couple of options to pick up a defense, with my main choice right now being Philly.
Should I sit the Bears D and go for one that seems to be hurting a little less or stick it out and hope for the best?
Thanks in advance.
Yeah I have a similar problem but worse -- I have no other options. IF I had a chance to start PHI instead I would. Detroit should score 3
TDs so it will be up to the Bears to score pts on sacks and TOs and ST
to stay positive.
BUT it is a mixed bag for me since I start Kitna at QB. Chicago's injuries hurt me on D/St but help with my QB. I am hoping Hester gets a TD return. And I am hoping CHI gets a few sacks to stay positive on fantasy points but I don't need Kitna throwing any INTs. At least if he does, I get those points back on the flip side.
As to why I have no other choice, 2 of my star RBs are out injured -- SJAX and Rudi. 2 more are out with BYE weeks. SO I had to drop SD as a D/ST to add Brian Leonard to my roster. We don't have IR in that league :( I also dropped B. Jacobs to make room for S. Morris of NE (So I had 3 injured Rbs before I dropped Jacobs)
PHI plays NYG and Eli has thrown some INTs and been sacked a few times this season. Only real concern is that PHI secondary is also injury riddled and IF Westbrook can't go, PHI defense could be on the field longer than desired
