    Sit or Start Advice

8 team league, start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1w/r, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def. Im set at te, k, def for the week, but I have a lotta questions about the other positions

2 options at Q: Eli manning and Jay Cutler, I am leaning toward manning right now, because he has played well so far this year

At WR I have Holt, J. Walker, D. Branch, Galloway, and Welker. Holt plays tampa's good defense. Walker has to play Jacksonville so I think i will def. start him. Branch had a big game last week and gets Cincinatti's week defense. Galloway plays against the Rams weak D, and has played well so far. I'm not really considering welker against buffalo. iof the top 4, which 3 do u think that i should start?

At RB I also have a tough decision. I am starting Adrian Peterson against KC and Alexander against Cincy. For RB/WR i think i should start a RB because they are garenteed touches. I have Gore (who has been great against everyone) against Pit, Lynch against NE and Edge against Bal. I am leaning toward gore because he is great, and with all 3 playing good defenses, i think he is the one to go.

Who do u think that i should play?

Go Braves, Go Hokies, Go Raiders.

It's a tough question on QB.  Eli is playing Washington who have surrendered just 1 passing TD is their 2 games against Miami and Philadelphia and average about 216 yards a game given up on Defense to the Pass -- right at the league average after 2 weeks on yards allowed but well below the 2.83 TDs a game allowed through the air.  AND we don't know just how healthy Eli's shoulder is.

JAX is only allowing 117 yds/game through the air and 0 TDs BUT look at who their first 2 weeks opponentes were:  Tennessee and Atlanta.  Neither team is challenging with the pass so one can't gauge how good JAX is on Pass D.   Denver on the other hand has a balanced attack on offense and leads the NFL after 2 games in total offense.  MY Head to head opponent this week plays Cutler as his QB so I hope the answer is Eli but I think it is a toss up.

AT WR any of the ones you have listed will do.  Tampa's pass defense is not stellar so far this year.  Seattle passed well on them and STL has better weapons at WR than Seattle.  The question is how well will STL Offensive line protect and will they finally create some running lanes for SJAX.  I'd start Holt because I think SJAX will do well and that will create better match ups for Holt.

Buffalo is hurting in its secondary.  I'd definitely start Welker.  Brady has been looking for him and Buffalo will be  a very good match up for him.

3 Rd WR could be Galloway who has started "HOT", Branch who started Cold but looked good last week against Arizona and faces Cincy this week or Javon who has had 2 very good games thus far.  IF I started Cutler I probably wouldn't start Javon but that is just me.  I like to have my eggs in more than 1 basket so to speak.  IF I started Eli at QB, I might opt of Javon as WR

Gore against PITT is a risk this week.  He wasn't very good running against Arizona and PITT will be tougher.  BUT I agree the other 2 match ups are no better.  You willw ant to follow Gore's injury announcements as they are reporting a sore leg which could hurt him even more against PITT.  I might go WR this week because PITT should be keying on Gore and they are the first D SF has faced that has the talent to stop on both on the ground and in receptions.  PITT has only yielded a total of 10 points in 2 games, although those games were against Cleveland and Buffalo
