    Trade Advice

I am in an eight team league where I have a ton of good running backs. In the rate my team forum there is a post with more details (it is about 2 teams) because many will wonder how I got my top 2. As it is I have Alexander, Gore, Edge, Lynch, and Peterson. It was a draft early in the summer, and Peterson was ranked much lower than he is now, which is great for my team. Someone in my league has proposed Larry Johnson for Frank Gore. Although Johnson is projected better, I have a lot of questions about him. Do you think that I should take the trade. I am really considering it not only because Johnson is rated higher, but I feel that with all my other running backs he might be worth the risk. What are ur opinions?

Well you have 2 stud RBs. One solid one (Edge) and two rookies who are primed for breakout seasons. I see from your other post that you start 2 rbs and a flex.I think that in the end, LJ will produce better than Gore but I think you're going about the trade all wrong. Unless it helps a bye week issue, why not try and trade LJ for an elite QB or WR. I see you have Eli and he's out for a while, Culter is serviceable and I don't think Smith will do that well. I'd also think about getting a better 3rd WR or TE.  Branch, Galloway, Clayton, are basically the same players and Kellen Winslow has no one to throw him the ball with skill (D. Anderson) or experience (Quinn).

It may be a bit too soon to trade away the RB depth.  Personally, Peterson will have a great week this week, look to trade him after this week.

This advice may be way too late, but no way I trade Gore for LJ.  LJ is playing behind a weak Offensive line and has no QB passing game to keep defenses honest PLUS SF has an easier schedule than KC.  If I had LJ, I'd love someone to trade me Gore straight up
