Winners List Data shows only two things:
Chevrolet cars have dominated big time at this track over
the past few years.
Numerous times showing multiple wins in a row by one driver.
A look at the top tens data:
Rick Hendrick and Jack Roush are tied for top ten finishes
in the past six races. In the last
three races though Rick Hendrick leads 7-2 over Jack Roush
Rick Hendrick and Rodger Penske are the only two teams that
can claim at least one driver getting a top ten finish over the past six races.
Richard Childress drivers have been shut out the last two
races.
Lots of love for lower end teams getting a top ten finish in
this race.
A look at the average finish data:
No driver this time has an average finish under ten. A first for me.
Brian Vickers, Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman all have one
junky finish that causes them to have an average finish above 10.0. It is like the first time this year that a C
list driver has the best average finish over the past six races.
Jeff Gordon has two wins in a row at this track in the past
six races, but two finishes in the 30's hurts his average finish data big time.
Carl Edwards over the past six races has four top quality
finishes, but two finishes no better than 40th ruining his average
finish big time as well.
Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., Mark
Martin, Greg Biffle and Jeff Burton hate this track. Even a Kyle Busch win the last time they came to the track does
not even give him a good average finish over the past six races.
A look at the average start data:
Qualifying at this track means nothing. Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart are the best
at doing both though.
