2) Kyle Busch (Previous Position: 2^nd) - Busch finished one spot worse than Carl last night. He still finished in the top ten and is still the leader in the Sprint Cup points.  The top two are just on fire as of late

3) Matt Kenseth (Previous Position: 4^th) - A top five finish for Matt moves him up to third place in this standings.  He also moved up one spot in the Sprint Cup standings.

4) Jimmie Johnson (Previous Position: 6^th) - This car was just unstoppable at the Auto Club Speedway. He dominated the whole race unlike last week and this week was able to move up one spot in the Sprint Cup standings.

5) Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Previous Position: 3^rd) - Having a worse finish than Matt and Jimmie moves him down one two in my rankings.  An 11^th place finish is still great though.  He also fell one spot in the Sprint Cup standings.

6) Kevin Harvick (Previous Position: 5^th) - Having a finish worse that Jimmie Johnson moves this driver down one spot in my ranking.  Still did finish in the top five though.

7) David Ragan (Previous Position: 8^th) - Another solid finish for him at the Auto Club Speedway moves him up to 7^th place in my rankings.  He really wants in the chase, but Clint Boyer is making it tough for him...

8) Clint Boyer (Previous Position: 9^th) - Boyer moves back onto the list in ninth after getting back into the chase in the last spot.  He is not really hot, but a bunch of drivers on this list stunk it up this week.

9) Jeff Burton (Previous Position: 7^th) - Burton moves down to ninth due to having a worse finish than Clint and David.  Seventh through ninth are very close this week in the hotness scale, in my opinion.

10) Denny Hamlin (Previous Position: N/A) - Hamlin moves back onto this list with his third place finish at the Auto Club Speedway.  It is his second week in a row with a third place finish which is keeping his chase hopes alive.
