A look at the wins data:
Since 1997 it has been mainly the Jeff Gordon and Tony
Stewart show at this track.
Chevrolet cars have been super dominate at this track over
the data supplied.
A look at the top tens data:
Lots of love to the low-end teams in this data, but I the
last two race run at this track a little more love is handed out to the bigger
teams.
Jack Roush is the only driver to claim one driver in the top
ten over the past six races.
Over the past three races Rick Hendrick has the most top ten
drivers.
On the top tens data list Bob Sutton owned the car driven by
Boris Said.
A look at averga finish data:
This track is the complete opposite of Sonoma with it comes to this data. This track has dominant cars unlike Sonoma. If you click on the link to the Sonoma data I compiled earlier this year and throw in the data drom the latest race you did get a but better average finish data, but not much.
Tony Stewart is the best at this track over the past six
races with four wins, a second place finish, and his worst finish of eleventh.
Robby Gordon has the second best average at Watkins glen,
but stinks up the joint at Sonoma.
Juan Pablo Montoya in two starts at Sonoma has been really
hot, but in one start at Watkins Glen he has a horrible 39th place
finish.
Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick are drivers who have five
solid finishes at this track, but one really horrible finish.
Drivers that struggle at this track include Boris Said, Kurt
Busch, Jeff Burton, and Greg Biffle.
A look at qualifying data:
Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin both are super at this track
when it comes to qualifying.
