  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 26

    1) Carl Edwards (Previous position: 1 st ) - Carl did what he had to do to stay on top of my fantasy rankings by bumping Kyle Busch out of the lead to win the race at Bristol. 2) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 2 nd ) - Finishing second at Bristol keeps this driver in second place in these rankings. He led over 400 laps at this track which is a massive feat to do. 3) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 5 th ) - With other drivers stinking up the joint this driver moves back up to 3 rd place in... Read More...
  • NASCAR Pepsi 500 Expert Picks

Well, that was an interesting set of picks last week . Seven drivers all in the top 24, but none of them got a top five. A solid day in the end though. I picked the best C list driver and two out of the top three B list drivers. A list drivers I had did good, but only two of the A list drivers did poorly in the points scoring. I felt Dale Earnhardt Jr. was a top ten driver that never did get the caution at the right time. Finishing 18th was really solid A list active driver: Jeff Gordon - Fourth... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 25

    1) Carl Edwards (Previous position: 2 nd ) - Sweeping Michigan helps this driver move into first place. His car was almost unbeatable throughout the whole race. 2) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 3 rd ) - Having better finish than Jimmy Johnson moves him into second place. His second place finish still keeps this driver really hot. 3) Jimmie Johnson (Previous position: 1 st ) - Another week where he had to battle from tire problems was not a great thing to see. He did finish the race in 17 th place... Read More...
  • NASCAR Sharpie 500 Expert Picks

Well that was sure a mix bag of picks I had last week . I wound up with four drivers in the top ten, including the winner of the race. I also wound up with three drivers finishing no better than 28 th ; but I only had one solid B list driver. An engine problem killed Kasey Kahne and his fantasy pick, but was the most picked B list driver for the week. An early, but extra, pit stop for A.J. Allmendinger to fix some damage on his car ended up ruining his day. Kurt Busch wound up spinning his car out... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 24

    1) Jimmie Johnson (Previous position: 1 st ) - Johnson keeps his first place spot with his seventh place finish at Watkins Glen. Had to battle back from a flat tire which was great to see. He also moved up one spot in the Sprint Cup standings. 2) Carl Edwards (Previous position: 2 nd ) - Having a top ten finish at Watkins Glen keeps him in second place. Was not a factor at all in the race, but after the race was over he moved into second place in the Sprint Cup Standings. 3) Kyle Busch (Previous... Read More...
  • NASCAR 3M Performance 400 presented by Bondo Expert Picks

After a relatively rough week, I rebounded with some decent picks this past Sunday. Denny Hamlin was not a factor in the race, but had a top ten finish. Juan Pablo Montoya was properly used and finished fourth. Jamie McMurray was solidly used and had a top 20 finish. I had two out of the best three C list drivers. Marcos came from the last qualifying start to finished third. He even drove his way to 15 th spot at the time of the first caution. Ron Fellows had a top 15 finish and he also started in... • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 23

    1) Jimmie Johnson (Previous position: 2 nd ) - A second week in a row with a third place finish moves this driver to the top of my power rankings list. Gained a good chunk on the leader in points. 2) Carl Edwards (Previous position: 4 th ) - Winning at Pocono moves this driver up two spots in my rankings. The crew chief made the right call to help him win the race. 3) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 3 rd ) - A twelfth place finish at Pocono keeps this driver in third place. Was a factor early... Read More...
  • NASCAR Centurion Boats at The Glen Expert Picks

My Pocono Pick were mostly bad. I picked the highest scoring A list driver in my sleeper picks which was nice, but my active A list driver, Jeff Burton, scored a bit poorly due to a late pit road penalty. I had the third best scoring B list driver in my active list which was nice, but both Bobby Labonte and David Gilliland both were very poor B list scores. I also had one the best C list drivers for the week in A.J. Allmendinger, but I also had one of the worst scoring C list drivers in Michael Waltrip... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 22

    1) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 1 st ) - A top 20 finish for him keeps him in at the front in this rankings list. He did not lose much of his big lead in the points which is great. 2) Jimmie Johnson (Previous position: 3 rd ) - Winning at the Brickyard moves this hot driver up one position in the standings. He also moved up one spot in the standings as well which has not been much at all at the top of the standings. 3) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 2 nd ) - DEJ battled back from a tire... • NASCAR Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 Expert Picks

Well, I had a bit of a mixed bag worth of picks at the Brickyard. All the active drivers were in the top 21 and I had two drivers in the top 10. Only one sleeper pick, Martin Truex Jr., was any good. The C list active driver was also a bit mixed. I picked one without any data that had a solid finish for a C list driver, but both Patrick Carpentier and A.J. Allmendinger without any data as well wound up doing even better. I thought going data free for an active C list driver was the best way to go... Read More...
