The only thing good about
my
picks for the Saturday Night race were the two B list drivers I had in the
top ten. Both of them were active and helped a lot point wise.
My A list picks were a bust, as both Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth
wound up with trouble. Carl was the second most picked A list driver this
week though.
My C list picks were not that great either, as both of them
wound up into problems as well.
A list active driver:
Jeff Gordon - This is the fifth
time on the list for Gordon. Over the past six races he has one of the best
average finish data of the whole bunch. He is not having the best of
seasons this year, but I do think he will do well this week at this track
B list active drivers:
Dale Earnhardt Jr. - Seventh
time on this list for DEJ. He has three top ten place finishes at this track
over the past six races, Hendrick cars just love this place and I think a
second Hendick driver is needed this week in your fantasy drafts.
Kyle Busch - Sixth
time on this list for Busch. His last finish at this track was junky, but I
think he will rebound big time from it. He has four top ten places
finishes in the past six races which is solid.
C list active driver:
Travis Kvapil - Seventh
time on this list for Kvapil. In his last four starts he has a couple of good C
list driver finishes. C list drivers do not have the best of data, so
this is a pick and pray candidate.
Sleeper picks:
Jeff Burton - He
just keeps plugging away with solid finish after solid finish. He won
last week and I do not see him getting into many problems at this track
either. In his last six races at this track he has three top ten place
finishes and two junky ones though.
David Ragan - His
last four Sprint Cup finishes have been great. His best finish so far at
this track has been 11th in four starts. I think he will have
another solid finish at this track.
Regan Smith - He
is a pick and a pray candidate, but is in the top 35 in points. His best
finish at this track in two starts is 14th. His car has been
better as of late.
