A List Active Driver:
Jeff Gordon - Gordon makes it onto my list for the second
time this year. His start to the season has not been great, but the
Hendrick cars are due to get another great finish. Jeff Gordon has fully
dominated at this track and will continue to do so, in my opinion.
B List Active Drivers:
Juan Pablo Montoya - Only two starts for him at this track,
but both have been top 20 finishes. I can say it is a gamble, but I feel
he can go three for three with top 20 finishes at this track.
Kyle Busch - This is the second time in my active drivers
list. Four out of the last six races has been top ten finishes for him which is
great. Last two finishes have been top fives. I feel he can
bring that same magic over to the Joe Gibbs Cars.
C List Active Driver:
Travis Kvaphil - Kvaphil is a whopper of a gamble, but one I
am going to take. He has one surprise top ten this season. I think
he can have his best finish at this track. He will get into the race no matter
how bad he qualifies.
Sleeper Picks:
Tony Stewart - If you are not so happy about Jeff Gordon
give Tony Stewart a try. He does have a 9.5 average start over the past
six races including a win at the track. He is also seventh in the points
with three top tens so far this season.
Greg Biffle - Over the past six races he only has only one
top ten finishes at this track which is not hot. He is a gamble but he is
second in the points right now which is a position in the points he has not had
this early in a season for a long time. I do think his hot streak can
continue and pull off another good finish this year.
Aric Almirola or Brian Vickers - Okay, so I have two C level
sleeper drivers this time. Choose Brian if you think he can rebound well
from his poor finish at the last race from Bristol. His average finish
over the last six race is 24 which is not too bad, but not great. Pick
Aric if you feel that his Bristol finish was no fluke.
