  We spent most of Start 'Em Sit 'Em yesterday talking about what the course was like, and what we should look for. It's an exclusionary distance course, which means the shortest hitters in the field are going to be unable to compete. Other than that, I don't see too many "make or break" stats this week. The greens are going to be on the slow side (they measured 11.5 on the stimpmeter last week; and Paramus has had plenty of rain since then), so even putting shouldn't... • PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: PGA Championship - Oakland Hills Country Club - Bloomfield Township, MI

  Well, here it is. It's the final major tournament of the season. In a season that brought us a season-ending injury to Tiger, the emergence of a young superstar in Anthony Kim, the resurgence of 48-year-old Kenny Perry; as well as a "changing of the guard" from the "Big 5" into the new crop of golfers. In fact, this season had fallen into a pretty decent routine. It was predictable, and made my life relatively easy when it came to predictions. However, last week happened.... • PGA Busts of the Week: Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial - Colonial Country Club - Ft. Worth, TX

  Last week, I had to tell the boss man that I couldn't even write a "Busts" article because there really weren't any "busts". This seems to be a variation on a theme week after week as the true cream rises to the top, while the pretenders struggle to make cuts. This week was a tough one for your prototypical power hitter, because power gets you little advantage at Colonial, while missing fairways are a fate worse than death. • PGA Tournament Busts: Wachovia Championship - Quail Hollow Country Club, Charlotte, NC

  As many nice stories as there were this week at the Wachovia, there were just as many head-scratching tank jobs. I'm going to do my best not to jump on anyone in the top-25, even if there are some ultra-elite players who barely make that category, and should have placed MUCH better against this field. Then again, there are other tank jobs that are pure tank jobs, and it makes you wonder where their respective heads are at recently. Is it ok to mail in the rest of the season after you win a tournament...
