• Panthers' Peppers Questionable; Cowboys' Romo Likely to Play

  Dallas leads the NFC purely because they beat the Packers. Without that win, the Packers would be leading. Both teams are now vying for home field advantage in the event that they meet again in the NFC Championship. Dallas hopes to help themselves tonight with a win over Carolina, but they will have to do it without a few key players. Carolina is still in the playoff race in the NFC, but they have to win tonight to keep their hopes alive. They've got a huge hole on their defense this week, though... • Matt Moore Leads Panthers Past Seahawks

  Panthers Rookie QB, Matt Moore, took the helm yesterday in Charlotte. The aging Vinny Testaverde needed to rest his sore body, and with the non-productive season that David Carr has had, Moore got the call. It was his first start in the NFL, and he led the Panthers to victory. All of the scoring was done in the fourth quarter, and Carolina struck first with a 53-yard John Kasay field goal. Seattle seemed to wake up after that, but Moore outplayed the veteran Hasselbeck and got the W for the Panthers...
