Kenny Phillips makes Sportscenter tonight.

I'm really interesested in seeing what Kiwi does out there tonight especially considering that this is the same field that he got injured on last year.

I just bought 2 tickets for row 11 on the lower tier on the 50 yard line for the jets vs giants pre-season game!

Out of all the young guys, I am expecting big things from Kehl. He is my sleeper pick and I think he will be starting sometime this season.

I agree that I'm torn about it. On 1 hand, I freaking can't wait to watch some more games. But on the other hand it's going to piss me off if the Giants do bad at some point and ESPN starts talking about they're "not the Patriots" and that it was a fluke.

Oh well, it's part of the game. I'd love a repeat more than anything. Football time!!

First and foremost, hoping to come out healthy.

Second, hoping to see promising signs from the young guys.

Third, hoping to see some good things from Mathias Kiwanuka.

I'd like to see Clarke. If he's gonna take Wilkinson's job then he better show something. Blackburne should get his time and chance too...

Yeah, watching Clark and Chase is also big tonight.. I still lean towards Blackburn, but we'll see if Clark is as stout against the run as he's expected to be

TonyNYG - I imagine it will be different for all of them.

Preseason game 1?  Manning/Jacobs and other big names may only see a single series.

Other starters like Kiwi may see a little more time.

And the D looks pretty good up front, but they are getting beat on dumps/screens and a few secondary issues (missed tackles and poor coverage).

Jacobs appears to be out of the game (one series), Eli still in for his second series.

Here are some of the non-G101 comments on Eli already:

Jacobs dropped one (a tad high) and Ward dropped one (very catchable), but Eli hasn't looked sharp.  Almost threw an Int to a LBer who had loose coverage on Toomer.

The run game looks awesome though.

Manning gone after a series and a half (one quarter).

Boss is a beast!  He just took shots and kept going ala Jeremy Shockey.

Boss' run blocking has a ways to go.  He's not quite Shockey in that regard ... not yet anyway.

Don't worry..  He will be fine.. This is his real game action since the superbowl..  Wright is in already

from what it sounds like, I'm listening to the game, the recievers weren't helping eli out really.  It sounded like they were having trouble getting open so the only one eli could depend on was the running back.  

Is that true or were the announcers just making it sounds like that?
